The TL;DR CR Meme
1. Post a top-level for yourself and your characters
2. People respond to you by asking for the deets on how your character feels about theirs
3. You give the deets, then you get other people to give the deets
4. It's just that simple

(pokey for ryoko as well)
Bonnie + Ryoko
From the moment he met her when she was rude to him, Pokey essentially had the feeling it was okay to hate Bonnie. The thing is, selfishly, as time went on it wasn't even Bonnie herself Pokey hated so much as several of Bonnie's darker attributes and habits which Pokey could still see in himself. Needless to say, Pokey projected hard in regards to Bonnie's behavior, which helped with his often times unwarranted hostile behavior. The fact that he got on so well with Lilith didn't hurt either in the fact that he was so willing to demonize Bonnie as easily as he was.
And then August happened and Lilith started letting her true colors fly by. That was a shock for him because, surprise. He was wrong, and he allowed what he wanted to see win out instead of what things actually were, which is a reoccurring theme to him. He put up so little a struggle against Bonnie when she came to call because he believed that he both deserved this and somehow believed that just killing him would be enough, as if he was somehow the major factor in things here and not Bonnie's own trauma.
He more or less started walking much more softly around Bonnie when he could, not because he was afraid of her, but because he had been projecting so much on to her. Needless to say, he still doesn't...like the person he actually recognizes that Bonnie is, but he realizes that he was being a piece of shit in how he was treating her, which has led him to want to make some kind of peace with her. That's the major underlying reason as to why he went to see her after her part as one of the first people to go on an expedition into the dungeon in March. In turn, he was somewhat surprised that she tried to be peaceful after the events of March wrapped up.
He wouldn't say he likes Bonnie, but he trusts her more than most in regards to working with her, as well as realizing how much of a shithead he was to be one of the main people ostracizing her, especially since the tables have turned. He's likely going to be dealing with the existential problems Bonnie dealt with during the breakdown she had throughout the end of last year, which while not increasing his understanding of Bonnie, will at least make him respect her more for what she did go through and built herself back up from.
Ryoko
Ryoko belongs in the category of the few people that Pokey would outright state he thinks is a genuinely good person. He recognizes and thinks there are flaws in her idealism, but at the same time that idealism is immensely welcoming to him because of how familiar he was with it from the people he met in Mayfield. In a way he kind of wants to see Ryoko maintain at least a little of her idealism at the end of this, though he recognizes that is probably selfish on his part as well as damning hard for anyone since this place might be worse than anything he's seen before. He keeps breaking down here himself; it's no wonder that Ryoko breaks down here as well.
Still, for all the difficulties she has, Ryoko constantly picks herself back up and keeps going. She's helped a lot of people he cares about, and she's helped him, and for that he's immensely grateful. He's kind of surprised she can't tell how strong she is after the fact she's survived so much and kept herself going after so much, and realizes, or at least feels, he's done a poor job in trying to help her realize that in any meaningful way.
In a lot of ways, of the people that were disappointed in his stupid selfish bullcrap in March, her disappointment hurt the worst. Pokey didn't need help understanding just how grave what had happened was, but seeing Ryoko's reaction kept showing him just how wide ranging everything he did was. He's going to take Ryoko's statement that he needs to try harder to protect other people's lives to heart, especially after this last event.
He wants to find some way to help Ryoko, considering she's one of the people he feels deserves help the most here, but also realizes he's probably the last person who can really provide this.
Bonnie
In a town full of children and halfwit assholes who have fought battles before but seem to have no idea how to adapt or go with the flow of a battle, Bonnie definitely stands out. The people here appear to think they're playing some kind of game instead of understanding how changing and fluid a battle is, whereas Bonnie's adaptability, survival instinct, and viciousness lends itself to battle immensely well. While several people here talk about plans as if battle plans are something you should ever put 100% stock in, Bonnie seems to understand that battle plans are a type of insurance. A way to feel good and show you have some form of control in an event you really don't. You make plans in order to have a very basic idea of what to do. You adapt when the battle actually starts and those plans go to hell.
On top of that, he simply likes Bonnie's personal attributes. SHe's cunning, strong willed, ruthless, and driven. These are attributes that Lucifer, as a being that represents freedom from control and chaos, adores. She talks the talk and also has the walk to back it up, which he finds lacking in almost everyone else here.
Most impressive was her way of building herself back up. When Lucifer first arrived she was on the verge of, then fell over, a precipice that led to self-destruction and existential terror. He was fascinated that even then she kept fighting, could see that part of her wasn't a show, but was her actual nature. He knew at that point too that she would rebuild herself, either into something resembling who she had been or something new, but stronger than previously as well.
He feels that recent events have proven him right.
It is very, very rare that Lucifer would say he likes another living creature. He can be fond of them from afar, but rarely does he like them. Bonnie has managed to win the position of being someone he actually likes. He's very much acting as a team player right now out of respect for her and the fact that she's one of the most likely people to lead them to managing to kill Kagaku due to her drive. Bonnie in turn will probably prove to be the only person here who might have some kind of ability to rein Lucifer in, though even then he wouldn't give her too much of a chance to do that because while he likes Bonnie, he also isn't adverse to having to fight/kill her if it really comes to it.
He's fought her twice now, both times when she wasn't in her right mind. He'd like, very much, to fight her one day when she's at her peak.

Pokey gravitated towards Asriel at first because he recognized how hard these places can be for a kid. He ended up sticking with Asriel because he just liked the kid and liked being able to look out for him. Learning more and more about Asriel, who he is and how broken he is, has just made Pokey feel closer to him. The brokenness and fear and pain that Asriel has experienced from that position is something Pokey can relate to and empathize with to a large degree. Selfishly part of Pokey wants to help Asriel to and hope to see Asriel grow because he wants to imagine he can help Asriel, that he himself has changed enough.
This event has put kind of a stopper in that.
That doesn't mean he's going to leave Asriel. Oh no. He still cares a ton for Asriel and is going to stick by him and make sure he's safe, but he doesn't know if he actually has the ability to care for and help Asriel in the way Asriel needs. He's going to always be their for support, but Pokey will always be sure that his advice, aside from keeping Asriel safe, is bad for Asriel. Pokey's honestly not going to be Pokey for at least a little while after the event, but he'll always be there for Asriel.

He knew that Dirk was Dave's brother, or some permutation of Dave's brother, and he only kind of got to know him a bit the first time he was here. He thought he was a decent guy, but he never spoke or did that much with him. He's taken aback a little by how much more intense this Dirk seems than even the previous one, but considering the first circumstance in which they really spoke he's hardly going to hold that against Dirk. It doesn't help that things had consistently been going south with Dave since at the very least August, maybe even far back as May, so he'll definitely do what Dirk wishes.
In most cases, Pokey would just give Dirk a wide berth. The dude clearly isn't to be fucked around with or tested. After the coming event however Pokey is going to change massively. He's going to ego die hard and if Dirk does go through with the idea he stated of testing the limits of the other magi, Pokey will be especially malleable. He'll more or less acquiesce to anything Dirk asks of him short of abandoning any of the very few people he's still on good terms with.
Essentially, Pokey isn't going to go out of his way to interact with Dirk and would try to avoid him in most cases, but after this event he'll pretty much do whatever he's told if Dirk comes knocking for him.

Lucifer is, however, cautious about anyone who would want to be that controlling. He'll definitely be keeping an eye on Dirk, because he doesn't trust that kind of mindset.
Anyway, now that the small fry are done, let's get on to the opinion of the big enchilada.
no subject
Mostly he doesn't like it because it forces him to look at a younger and, in his opinion, more naive version of himself. He hates seeing a version of him that doesn't understand yet how impossible and pointless it is to try and corral most people, that they aren't worth the time or the effort of the whole ordeal. When you spin your webs, little man, spin them small and for a singular person or reason. It makes him self-conscious because it reminds him of something he's long past. But it also reminds him there was a point he gave a shit about people.
That being said, he's still definitely going to keep an eye on Dirk.
Part of it is because in a way he wants to help Dirk. Dirk doesn't understand the downfall he's headed towards if he keeps giving a fuck about other people. He needs to learn this lesson quicker than Bro himself did because if he does maybe, just maybe he might actually be better adjusted than Bro. In a weird way, Bro DOES want to guide and 'help' Dirk in a way that he thinks would be beneficial to him. It isn't really, of course, but it's what Bro knows.
The other part sees Dirk as a proxy for him in trying to protect his interests in town without having to move too openly. Dirk is more open to people than him and others are more receptive of him. Considering Dirk seems to be bending so well to Bro's manipulation, he thinks it could be worthwhile to try and push Dirk in the direction he wants things to go. And if Dirk resists, well. That's fine. He doesn't have to do everything but Dirk has provided enough ammo for Bro that Bro is kind of surprised he was given such an edge in this competition.
He was really flabbergasted Dirk asked him to help spy on/gather info on people. Not because he's against doing it, but he's amazed Dirk would hold out a sword like that for Bro to just take and run him through with if it ever called for it on Bro's end.
You're in for a bumpy ride on the Bro express, my man.

Chase
Re: Chase
re: Pokey
Then, of course, in August. Pokey completely summed up everything she hated about Lilith at the time by calling her the monster, as she hadn't even killed anyone yet. Even before she killed anyone and after Lilith killed two of them, she was the monster due to how happy she was to play the game, and how little she cared about getting along with anyone else. While she was trying to get over it after their fight, everything he said started to push those bitter feelings right back up, which is why those words rang out the loudest when she came back after Lilith killed her. If she was a monster in their eyes, she'd become an actual monster when it came down to it.
Though his advice was accurate, she didn't want to hear any of it, and after murdering him in August, she saw him as just another one of the pathetic pacifists who didn't want to kill her in return when it came down to it. Just another reason for her to leave Nyoi-cho and never come back. By the time that she came back Pokey was gone, so surprise! She completely forgot about him until his return.
By that point she had already dealt with Lilith and was back on top, so it regressed back until recently. She thinks he's stupid for how he dealt with the dungeon business, but given all of the other reactions to it and the fact that she herself created a Witch and was already hated before then, she didn't feel like fighting him or getting him killed would be worth it. At worst, getting rid of Miki and Hoshiko's grief seeds would be punishment enough, along with being kept on a tighter leash.
She doesn't really like him. But truth be told, that knowledge that he has is invaluable and he's a guy who's willing to figure his shit out on his own time and hopefully not dwell on petty shit in the middle of a massive fight. She's willing to work with him, and given where she's going after the boss battle, may even let him know how she's tried to bounce back and tried to get to where she is now. Whether or not he'll like the answer, that's on him.
--
Ryoko on the other hand, always thought Pokey wasn't all that bad. Sure, he could be a little crass and seemed to be a bit of a delinquent at times-- underage smoking, how evil-- but he seemed to always have the best intentions at heart. He was always nice to her, and more importantly, even though it wasn't direct: he knew Yuki, and fought in Mayfield alongside, somewhat. Two different groups sure (and not even the same Yuki), but they still fought to the same goal. How could she hate him?
Every event that went by gave Ryoko reason to believe he's not nearly as good as he says he is, considering how quick he is to be a downright shit to her. But truth be told, she always chalked it up to just that: that it was some kind of magic event nonsense going on and that it'd be alright. He was just under some kind of bad influence. He was smart enough to know that, and she just needed to make sure she remembered that herself.
That just made the dungeon that much more horrible for her. Knowing that someone who seemed to have somewhat decent judgment and could see any of this coming would continue on, not protesting at all once Sachiko told them not to go and Mettaton tried to continue. She wanted to believe so strongly that he wound up down there under protest and he was trying to take the heat because that's who he is, but the story he told just made her angrier.
She's not really over it. She doesn't hate Pokey, not in the slightest, but she's not happy that this is what he's done. She really does hope that he remembers that he's not fighting to keep himself safe, but literally everyone else, and if he can do that, then maybe she'll trust him again.
re: Lucifer
Of course, at that point in time she was literally enemies with everyone, and amongst all that: Luci just made the most amount of sense. There was always something off about him, and given how forthcoming he was in wanting to test her abilities and how he views everyone else, there's no way she'd come to hate him any further than any of the other monsters in town. Time proceeded and as Bonnie starts to learn more about how she should be as a magi, Lucifer is a constant reminder that even if she does think to team up with anyone, she shouldn't lose sight of what she truly is as well.
After all, she did almost succumb to her existential crisis yet again. Wanting to be killed so she could forget about being a Darkhunter for good, and Lucifer was the one that propped her right back up by explaining the sheer superiority of the human race to her in a way she completely understood. It made her realize that getting mad over it was pointless, and the best way to deal with it at this point was to show Kagaku Yamashita what kind of human she truly was.
If he's behind her, she's more than willing to have him help her in trying to track down and kill Kagaku Yamashita, and in the process? If they have to fight again, while Bonnie's able to know what she's doing and Lucifer's not under any kind of mind control himself, she'd be more than happy to oblige. There's nothing wrong with a deathmatch spar, in the end!
Either way, she's happy to have him around. His knowledge and strength makes him a good part of the team, and the utter disdain he has for weaklings and those who want to pile on so much responsibility with nothing to show for it makes him that much more useful to Bonnie personally.

As for Pokey, I get the feeling if she came in at any other time, she probably would ignore him, but because of timing and all, she's gonna stick by him until/unless something Drastic changes. It's not cool how everyone keeps giving him shit, you know? And he seems like a pretty alright guy, just really cynical, like damn.

Also, Oso on Ryoko as well!

ew no.
okay, that's a lie. Osomatsu has been worried about Karamatsu every single day they've been here. he never knows when a battle is going to pop up and take him, or his brother away, even if it's just for a few days. he feels neither of them belong here. they aren't heroes. they're soft! they tell jokes! how are they supposed to be Magi?
nevertheless, there's something cool about it being just the two of them in this world. he loves the bonding time they've had together. he wants there to be more of that and less fighting. and he wants them to succeed. he thinks that at least Karamatsu deserves to be happy. Karamatsu's a good guy, a little stupid, but better than the rest of them. so Oso'll do his best to protect him, while still treating him like shit. maybe that's Osomatsu's way of trying to toughen him up? or maybe he's just an ass.
Karamatsu is essentially Osomatsu's twin, so there's a strong bond there. Osomatsu would do anything to ensure that Karamatsu lives. he'd put himself in harm's way for him. bros before hos, dude, all the way.
Ryoko
Wow. where to start? first and foremost, Osomatsu probably respects Ryoko the most out of everyone. she's young, but she's been a Magi for a long time, and bad things keep happening to her! when he watches Ryoko out on the battlefield, those big brother senses kick in, and he just wants to protect her, but also follow her to the end. if Ryoko told Osomatsu to do something, he'd trust her judgment and do it.
he thinks she is too pure for this world, but also knows that she's obviously seen some shit. she's watched her friends die, maybe has even died herself? he doesn't know for sure. he just senses a sadness around her, something tragic, and he thinks that's because of what she's seen and done in this world. she shouldn't be dealing with that! she's a young woman who probably wouldn't give him the time of day in the real world. she should be going to parties, hanging out with friends, having fun.
instead Ryoko seems so sad and serious. he doesn't mind relinquishing the title of leader to her, but he also wants to cheer her up somehow!
Re: Junebug

......he's so wrong. about everything. but then, when you're a loser like Osomatsu, everyone else is cool.
Bro is another one of those people who, if he commanded Osomatsu to do something on the battlefield, Osomatsu would do it (i mean, within reason. Bro seems like the type of guy who would play a joke on someone who showed him fierce loyalty). he respects him, but is also a bit wary of him. the guy could crush him if he wanted to. so Osomatsu hopes to stay on his good side, and avoid any puppet-attacks.

Dirk has no idea what to make of Bro Strider.
On the one hand, Bro is an iteration of himself and is therefore capable and intelligent. For all the AR annoys him, Dirk trusts his judgement and considers him a valuable partner and crime and conversational partner. Bro also offers the one thing Dirk has wanted his whole life, and that's a father figure who teach him and guide him. It's not the brother he wants, but it's someone who can offer guidance and help him figure out what the fuck he feels. He wants Bro's approval even if he won't admit it.
On the other, Bro Strider is an iteration of himself and is therefore dangerous, headstrong, and not to be trusted with impunity. Dirk knows what he's like. He knows that he's controlling and has a mean streak a mile wide, he loves trolling the fuck out of the people around him and manipulating people to his whims, and he thinks that he can deal with this after dealing with the AR.
Except, no. He can't.
Dirk has never dealt with a version of himself who has lived through the tumultuous teen years and come out of it a worse person. He doesn't realize that Bro knows all of his weaknesses and he doesn't really know any of Bro's, and the difference in the power dynamic is going to be his downfall. Bro browbeating him down hurts more than the AR doing it and he's way more susceptible to his influence. And Dirk is going to learn that he's not as great and powerful as he thinks he is soon.
As for Lucifer...
He doesn't know what the fuck to make of him, other than he has a valuable power and seems rational, if not ridiculously brutal, most of the time. This is going to be a case of keeping your friends close and your potential enemies that much closer.
