So in Mayfield kind of ended up taking care of a younger kid by accident, but it ended up being something especially good for him. In a lot of ways, he has transferred a lot of that part of him from Mayfield into looking out for Asriel.
On a personal level, Pokey thinks Asriel seems to be a real good kid. He appreciates how sweet the kid seems, and he worries that Asriel is in for a big, big letdown with this considering how much Asriel wants to think that the magi are doing true good in this since Pokey is fully certain its a con. Still, Asriel reminds Pokey of the people he met in Mayfield and how genuinely good they are, and that's something Pokey appreciates and treasures immensely.
He doesn't suspect yet any of the terrible shit that kind of follows Asriel, as he hasn't seen any evidence for the more cynical or nihilistic side Asriel could have after having been Flowey. Still, if he does catch a whiff of that he's going to want to talk to the kid, because a big part of that is something that he can relate to.
Pokey also just gets along with monsters better than he does people in most cases, so hey, there's that.

Pokey had known Dave, briefly, in Mayfield, and Pokey related at least a bit of that to this Dave when he met him. Being obsessive and fixating on things is part of what Pokey did, and even if this was a different Dave, for a moment Dave could also be a reminder of his home. And at first, that's how Pokey thought of him during the first couple of times they talked, because Pokey never expected it to become a big deal or that he'd actually capture Dave's attention in anyway.
The fact that he did was a massive surprise to him.
Since leaving Mayfield, Pokey had had problems with companionship and opening up to other people. As far as he was concerned, all the people he loved and cared about were dead, and he'd failed them and unfairly gotten to keep moving on. Relationships weren't something that just wasn't going to happen, they were something he should try to avoid if he could. He didn't always keep up to this, as he'd had a friend in Teddie from Persona 4 and Kyouko from the game before he got to Cosmos.
But Dave was a weird gamechanger in that because Dave seemed so much like someone Pokey could relate to on a personal level. Dave seemed to get how Pokey thought, and more than that, Dave was cool. Pokey sincerely feels Dave is a legit cool guy, as much as Dave might be putting on airs. And Dave seemed to give a crap about him, for some reason Pokey didn't begin to understand. And because of that, Dave wasn't just some dude to hang out with, but someone worth defending.
Unfortunately, this also meant being overly zealous in protecting Dave.
For as much good as hanging with Dave could do for Pokey, it also brought out a lot of the worst in Pokey's behaviors in relating to people. Because Pokey has at least an idealized idea of Dave in his head that he's thinking of when he's trying to 'help' him, and in part he's not just defending Dave, but feels he HAS to defend Dave to an extreme not because Dave is incapable, but because Pokey clearly should be the one responsible for making sure shit doesn't get to Dave. As much as Pokey has learned about giving a shit about others, he's immensely self-deprecating and feels he's bound to fuck up so he should work double time on helping others out, and Dave is unfortunately the person he does this too the most.
In a lot of ways, this has subconsciously caused a lot of strain on Pokey's part too, where the dude refuses to acknowledge Dave's worse behaviors and personality aspects, but is still clearly affected and annoyed by them. He won't say it, of course, because Pokey feels he's just being a petty dick to a dude who clearly has it all together. Which, unfortunately, kind of exploded during the event this month.
Because, get this, in the heat of the moment Pokey saw Dave's attempt to show him mercy and back off as an insult. In his own way, Pokey interpreted it as Dave not actually taking him seriously not because Dave wasn't trying to kill him per se, but acting like Pokey was full of shit when he said he'd experienced this before. Not only that, but it reminded him of how many people he'd seen die during this shit before. In a weird way, it kind of triggered a shitty flashback and flood of repressed feelings, and he basically unleashed them towards Dave.
Which was inevitable to happen in some way. Pokey genuinely likes Dave, but he's not always honest with Dave, either. As much as he tries to help Dave, he's never opened up on a personal level himself to Dave aside from the time they talked about brothers last November. Pokey won't let himself be real at times with Dave, and so during one time when it really, really have benefitted for him to be real, he fucked it up and just got insanely angry.
And, of course, that means he's fucked this relationship up forever, because now Dave knows what a piece of garbage he is. So it's time to shut his mouth and leave the dude alone, because he's clearly done way more damage than help.

Pokey is really, really conflicted on Kyouko. Much like Dave, Pokey had known a version of Kyouko before coming here. Unlike Dave, though, who was only a passing acquaintance, Pokey knew the previous Kyouko for a year and a half/two years and had been a friend. She also came from end of canon/post death and had gone through a few months of character development by the time Pokey met her, so he isn't used to seeing Kyouko as bitter and cynical as she is right now.
It creates a massive bit of inner turmoil for the dude. On one hand, Pokey knows that this is an entirely different person from a different world and timeline than the Kyouko he knew, and thus she's bound not to be much like her nor does he have the right to just kind of invade her life. On the other hand, she just. Reminds him too much of his friend that he had known for almost two years. Disassociating from that is impossible, and he wants to try and help her when he came, though he doesn't know how, since she both doesn't seem to need or want help. Which causes an incredible amount of distress on his part.
Mostly, he's trying to just see her when he sees her and hope that she'll be fine here. He's not sure how to approach her, and in part feels like he shouldn't and doesn't have a right to.

Pokey is pretty intrinsically wired to prefer and gravitate towards monsters than to other people. He's simply always felt a better connection to monsters, so that helped in endearing him to Lilith. He's known not to specifically trust her because she is a monster, and he knew that her offers to pity kill him were serious and that, in a lot of ways, he was lucky to stumble on her when he did and avoid just getting killed by her for points. But that's just the danger of hanging with monsters, so he's used to that by now.
In a lot of ways, though, he didn't see this actual shitstorm coming. Part of it was because he genuinely did believe there was this sense of fun and understanding of kindness from Lilith. Part of his interpretation of her behavior comes from the monster friends he had made in Mayfield and watching how they changed and evolved towards a more neutral stance than their previously monstrous ones. In a way, Peokey allowed his expectations to get the better of him on that. Another factor leading in to him leaning so heavily on Lilith's side was, well. Pokey's growing hatred of Bonnie. Bonnie had proven herself to be psychotic and dangerous and seemed to hate Pokey on a personal level, so Pokey had no reason to NOT root for Lilith in their slap fight, considering how much kinder and friendly Lilith had been.
He's been sincere when he's said that he doesn't care about Lilith and Bonnie killing each other, but he always assumed that it really would be in a fight and that Lilith wouldn't dick around and do what she did. Pokey's in a weird place, because he still likes Lilith but he's kind of terrified at how far she went. In a lot of ways, it's the kind of behavior he had internally thought BOnnie would pursue, not Lilith, and despite his hatred of Bonnie he still doesn't believe she deserved to die the way she did. It's kind of clear he has to be a lot more careful in how he approaches whatever bullshit slapfight the Darkstalker and Hunter have, let alone realize the fact that he has trusted Lilith way more than he should have since he likes her.

Pokey is pretty sincere when he hates Bonnie. A big part of why he hates Bonnie comes from just how shittily Bonnie has treated him from the moment he saw her. The fact that she's as violent and apparently willing to kill anyone for reasons Pokey perceives as petty and doesn't seem to feel bad about. He hates how greedy and selfish she is.
And most of the reason he hates that about her and, by extension, Bonnie herself is because of how greatly it reminds him of the worst parts of himself. Parts that he's still really, really struggling not to let out, especially in a new place. It kind of makes him wonder why he just doesn't behave as badly as Bonnie at times, because it doesn't seem to have as many drawbacks as he thinks Bonnie's behavior should. The whole point of telling her she was going to die alone came from experience; after all, that's how he'd died several times in Mayfield before he started not pulling his shit. And still, watching Bonnie, he's reminded of just how easy it is to kind of be a shitty person, and in a lot of ways how much someone can get away with. He's selfishly projecting the parts of himself he hates on to Bonnie, while also legit kind of just hating Bonnie for the way she treats him to begin with.
He doesn't mind the idea of Bonnie getting killed considering his hatred for her, and even then he still wouldn't have begrudged Bonnie killing Lilith since he'd assume it would be the only kill against one of the other magi she made here out of self-defense. At the same time, even if he hates her he doesn't perceive Bonnie as deserving just being slaughtered like she was by Lilith, which makes things awkward in how to deal with her the next time he sees her, to say the least.

In a lot of ways, he's slightly perplexed by Ryoko. He doesn't fully get what her mom/big sister schtick is about, or why she seems to care about him considering how aggressive and rude he can come off as. Fundamentally, he perceives that she's a good person and wants to help her out. At the same time, he doesn't feel like he deserves or is worthy of any help or concern from her.
He hasn't spent a lot of time with Ryoko, but she seems bright, if kind of lonely. He hasn't gotten to see too much of her greater inner worries in regards to the people she knew and her place among them, though he'd be worried by them. At the moment, he's satisfied to do what little he thinks he can to help.

His first impression of her wasn't a good one, considering it came with her more or less insulting the memory of someone he considered a friend and who he was generally close to in the Doll. He didn't exactly hate her, per se, but he did have a great deal of antipathy towards her because of it and decided to keep an eye out on her.
Where there current thread heads will help determine how he continues to perceive her. It looks like he could feel a bit more empathy towards her considering just how rough she seems to be recovering from July's event. At the same time, it'll take a bit for him to be willing to forgive the slight he feels she inflicted.
