heyooooo this is yue and while I already play way too many characters at this game, here are just a few I haven't been able to resist considering.


First off is Kyouko Sakura. I played her for while before, but if this is your first time hearing about her, she's essentially that kid at the playground who pulls on your pigtails to get you to pay attention to her. Her hobbies are picking fights and casually stalking the girl she loves. She's a pretty seasoned magi, so a lot of this is familiar territory for her. She's also incredibly jaded, but luckily Sayaka has managed to bring some of her idealism back.


Next is Buddy, who is just a ginormous pile of problems. As the only child born after the apocalypse - as well as the only surviving female - she's been treated differently her entire life, and this has led to her acquiring ginormous god and messiah complexes. The world is a mess, and she just needs to rule it. Given that "kill or be killed" is just about the closest thing there is to the law of the land, this means that she's ruthless and murder-happy. She's also terrified of having her freedom taken away from her, and will not hesitate to resort to any means necessary to maintain control over the situation at all times.

What is Darkstalkers? A fighting game franchise that Capcom is determined to leave in the grave, featuring all sorts of ghosts and goblins alongside those who want to kill them! The animation is gorgeous and the spin-offs are numerous, and chances are you're at least somewhat familiar with Morrigan or Felicia. We've already got, as you all probably know, Lilith and Bonnie, but who is it we'd be interested in?

Felicia - A Darkstalker who was raised by some very kind human nuns, Felicia is a bubbly young lady who wants to become an idol and show the world that not all Darkstalkers are evil! She may be a little weird, but she does her best to spread her message. Felicia would be amazing in game because unlike Lilith and Bonnie, she sees things with a lot more grey: some humans are bad, and some Darkstalkers are good! Moral dilemmas ahoy!

Jedah Dohma - Resident Edgelord and the main villain of Darkstalkers 3, Jedah Dohma is Lilith's entire reason for existing as anything but a soul. He's rotten to the core and wants to destroy the world to create his own, perfect world consisting of only the darkest of souls, and has some very particular methods of cleaning as well...? Needless to say, even if Lilith thinks he's a stuffy loser she is indebted to him, so his appearance in Nyoi-cho would wreck havoc in the best of ways.

Morrigan Aensland - Big sis succubus and the picture woman of Darkstalkers, Morrigan is obnoxious. She's an incredibly powerful woman with a throne she doesn't want because she'd much rather spend her time enjoying the human world. If you thought Lilith was annoying when she's cocky, wait until you see Morrigan. Morrigan would be a hilarious addition to Nyoi-cho and flip the tense "peace" on its head with her fickle, obnoxious attitude.

Jon Talbain - A human with the heart of a monster, Jon is your typical werewolf's dilemma. He's unsure of what to think of his loss of humanity, but at the same time wants to believe he can overcome it. To no surprise, he isn't exactly able to control the monster within him, and is constantly struggling with where he fits. Also he doesn't like to wear shirts. He is pretty obviously Bonnie's fated enemy, so while I would love him for his internal struggle... Bonnie would love him for his internal organs.

Banana? - Seriously, we would love to see ANY Darkstalker in game. They're all really awesome, and if you have any questions on the characters, the game, the canon... let us know! Chase has a near encyclopedic knowledge of the series, so we can definitely help out with getting into the series!

This is Bro, and while I know it's usually not kosher to app yourself into a game, I thought I might give it a try to cause suffering among our mods in retribution. Technically he's a dude from this webcomic called Homestuck and who gives the impression of being a slick, cool internet savvy dude who is actually an insecure manchild terrified about raising his bro right in the most emotionally manipulative way possible because his bro is his legacy. But really it's just me.

I am also thinking of apping a sweet cinnamon roll that happens to be a dragon.



This package of joy is Mikhail from Drakengard 3. He is a baby dragon and he is neither stinky, dirty, or dumb. He loves friendship, singing songs, believing in the power that problems can be talked out, and hanging with his good friend Dito. He is entirely absent of hate and prejudice, except towards wyverns. Dirty, dumb wyverns who are taking dragon jobs.

These are the two front runners I'm thinking of. Here's a dark horse.



This is Rando from the game Lisa the Painful RPG/Lisa the Joyful. Rando is one of the most prominent warlords in a bitter, war torn apocalypse. Unlike most of the assholes who live in the horrible ass world he lives in, Rando has a strong sense of justice and a desire for peace. He kind of helps invoke this by being one of the strongest fuckers where he lives, though he's a terrible idealist and can only run a kind of tight ship. He's got a heart of gold that, unfortunately, gets dragged through a mire in his own canon. This place would almost be an improvement.

I have with me here one Shizuma Mayuzumi from Prince of Stride, a delicate flamingo who has slight psychic powers and the straight man to many people's funny men. He's from one of the many sports genre canons out there and generally spends his time looking after his best friend who tends to run off and do all sorts of things on his own, so if he ever comes here he'll be a butler without a master. Truly, a tragic fate. Other than that he's generally a nice guy who slips into tranquil fury when he's threatened... he looks well-adjusted but he doesn't have his dear Reiji here so he'll be essentially in pining mode forever.

He'll try to look after people he comes across but with varying levels of success. Also probably a healer if y'all are in dire need of any healers.

sweats ok this is carmen and while i am not in this game i have been lurking and staring for 1000 years wanting to app in Rue from Princess Tutu



rue is no stranger to otherworldly manipulations and the dark sides of magical girls, since she was was forced into a role that basically constitutes as "magical girl odile" in her canon. she's a sweet girl at heart, but years of abuse from the villain of the story has made her distant and isolated from anyone not mytho. combined with some seriously low self-esteem that has only further gone through the wringer from the canonpoint i'm planning on, this place might seem like an improvement over what she's used to.

i've always wanted to play her in a place separate from the princess tutu meta-structure and see how she develops away from mytho and all the gold crown town baggage. i think this game would be a good chance to try it!!!

hi, i'm Isen, i've been staring at this game for a long time and i made an attempt a while ago by putting FFXV's Noctis on the TDM and that just flat out didn't work, nowhere near confident to put that doof in a game.

instead, i'm thinking of this asshole.

this is the Batter, from a very weird little indie game called OFF. he's actually terrible. like legit terrible no good very bad. the Batter is under the complete delusion that he is the saviour of all worlds and it's his divine mission to purge all the worlds of darkness and impurities. aka: murder all y'all. he's a very cold and ruthless warrior, with little to no emotional range and a complete lack of any ability to give a shit about anyone not himself. it makes for a pretty difficult time trying to get him to interact with other characters and form lasting friendly CR, but negative CR is bountiful.

so yeah. i wanna play here, i think the Batter would be a lot of fun albeit difficult to play here. would anyone want to play around with this jerkface?

Anyway, I'm mainly debating her because she's the exact opposite in temperament as Kainé, and also because she'll probably try to sacrifice herself once every couple of months. Still, if you want a horrifying abomination, she's the choice for you!

John Egbert from Homestuck. Mainly being debated because he would blow his big wish on a dvd of Con Air. Also, maybe it would be nice playing someone friendly and outgoing? Who knows???

Shaundi from Saints Row 2. She... does nothing besides get high and bang dudes. Later she takes a level in badass but also becomes completely UnFun. We are going with the high version, because it would be funny. And because one complete trainwreck deserves another.

yo soulgemmed! i'm coco and i've been looking at this game for a while. i have some considerations but i can't decide on who to bring here.......

the first is yuri plisetsky from yuri on ice! he's a cranky, moody 15-year-old who has no idea how powers work. idk i think he'd only add to the clusterfuck and probably offend a lot of people here which is gonna be a fun time.

the second is asami sato from the legend of korra! undecided if she'll be from book 3 or 4 atm but she's kindhearted, kickass, and i'd love to see her with some superpowers since she's the only one on team avatar who doesn't. she'd also have some firm stances on some of the things happening so i think that would be fun to play out as well!

i'm also considering neku sakuraba from twewy (though he'd also be new to empatheias) and dia kurosawa from love live sunshine. idk man i can't make decisions i guess
