There's no use in dwelling on it. You're a magi now, and that means adjusting to a whole new lifestyle! Maybe one of the townspeople can help you out. Only... they're acting a bit strangely, aren't they? They're all too happy to show you around, but there's something unsettling about the way they're behaving. Almost cheerfully dissonant. Any questions about the history of the town are met with blank stares and brief silence, before they plaster a smile onto their faces and change the subject. Any attempts to tell them about your duties as a magi or anything else that relates to the magical will get similar reactions. Isn't there anyone normal here that you can talk to at all? Home Improvement: The houses that the magi are given access to really are something, aren't they? There's almost no limit to what they can do! Why don't you create the house of your dreams, or maybe recreate and relive your favorite childhood scenes? Invite some spectators over to marvel! Maybe you're having a hard time keeping it under wraps, and now you're wreaking havoc across the town without meaning to! A Dreadful Nightmare: You had an absolutely horrid day. As you drift off to sleep, your mind dwells on all the injustices you've had to endure. In response, your bed swallows you up, and your room shifts into a horrific Nightmarescape. What sort of Nightmare are you? What kind of Nightmarescape do you create? Hopefully your fellow magi can stop you before you cause too much damage! Ooh! I know this one! There's like, a machine, and it's shining a light on these pictures that are moving really fast, right? And it's projecting on the screen! Cool, huh?

Wealthy? Nah! There are movie theaters all over the place, and it only costs a coupla coins to get in! Do you really not have stuff like this where you're from?

No, we do not. Where I am from in London, it is very dirty and full of riffraff. The rich are usually entertained by the theater, but nothing like...this. This is far beyond the sort of innovation in my world.

I was not aware people could be brought here from different worlds.

Yeah, I know! I've been all over the Mushroom Kingdom using the warp pipes and all, but they could never take me to another dimension, ya know?

I am no longer there, so its stinks considerably less. I do not think I would have been allowed in public anyway, considering.

It's called the Mushroom Kingdom 'cause it's full of mushrooms! Even the people are mushrooms! Well, not ALL of them. I'm not a mushroom. Man, I'd hate to be a mushroom, they're all squishy and stuff!

You have no idea. A creature such as yourself would either be paraded around in a sideshow or beaten to death out of sheer fear. Hmm. I'm assuming they are merely edible mushrooms with no other function than eating.

A sideshow doesn't sound half-bad, but b-beaten to death? No thanks! London really sounds like the pits!

Oh, sure, there's a lot of mushrooms around you can eat! Then there's REALLY big ones that people build houses out of! And there's even Princess Toadstool, but she's not a mushroom, she's a human! Like you!

They are a very excitable bunch. Be glad that you live in a place that seems to embrace a variety of different sort of people and creatures. Hmm, is that right? That sounds like a fascinating place. Where I am from, mushrooms do an altogether other kind of thing.

Sometimes they make you taller, sometimes they make you smaller. Other times, they make you see things that aren't there. Of course, these are only mushrooms where I'm from (The former being Wonderland, the latter, well, Wonderland and her own world). I suppose they are quite different where you are from.
