Arrival: So you've just arrived in Nyoi-Cho. Congratulations! You must be so excited about having your wish granted. Or maybe you're upset that the result wasn't quite what you expected? If that's the case, then that's too bad! There are no take backs and no redoes, so you're stuck with what you have! Maybe you should have been more careful about how you worded that wish...

Oh well. There's no use in dwelling on it. You're a magi now, and that means adjusting to a whole new lifestyle! Maybe one of the townspeople can help you out.

Only... they're acting a bit strangely, aren't they? They're all too happy to show you around, but there's something unsettling about the way they're behaving. Almost cheerfully dissonant. Any questions about the history of the town are met with blank stares and brief silence, before they plaster a smile onto their faces and change the subject. Any attempts to tell them about your duties as a magi or anything else that relates to the magical will get similar reactions.

Isn't there anyone normal here that you can talk to at all?

Home Improvement: The houses that the magi are given access to really are something, aren't they? There's almost no limit to what they can do! Why don't you create the house of your dreams, or maybe recreate and relive your favorite childhood scenes? Invite some spectators over to marvel!

[While Kairi is busy looking around for someone to talk to, someone else is trailing behind looking at her, working up the courage to say hello again, given the circumstances of the last time they had talked. Gosh, it was easier to interact with someone she admired so much like Kairi when she knew it would only be for a short time before she was going to return to her heart, just that brief moment of seeming like a dependable hero... Naminé wasn't sure what to do just yet, even if she was worried about what kind of trouble her Other might find herself in while walking alone like this, not that the blonde herself would really be too much help.

Staaaare...]

[ It certainly says something that it takes a bit of time for Kairi to notice she's being followed. Maybe it's because it's not a malicious presence that she doesn't notice. Maybe it's because she's too intent on trying to communicate with people to get answers to her questions that she just doesn't bother considering that someone could be following her. Either way, it takes at least another six or seven minutes before Kairi stops and leans against a streetlight pole, running a hand through her hair as she considers what to do next.

Who knew it'd be so hard this time around? She got lucky in Twilight Town and she knows it, so she had it in her mind that it'd be easy this time too. But she's had her dose of reality, and that's fine, she just has to keep trying!

Kairi takes a moment to glance around, to get some bearing on where she is, and there are a few glimpses of blonde hair, so it doesn't register just yet, but after scanning again, that's when she sees blonde and white, and that's a familiar combination. Sure, she might not have spent nearly as much time with Naminé as say, Sora or Riku, but she'd never forget the Nobody, the girl that rescued her from her cell and stood at her side against Saïx.

Straightening up against the pole, Kairi tilts her head slightly as she takes a few steps away, hoping to get a better look at the girl that she really hopes is Naminé. ]

When Kairi finally seems to actually notice that she was being followed, Naminé figures that the jig was up on this little parade around town. Taking a deep breath inwards, she steps out from behind the corner she was concealing herself behind, worrying with her fingers in front of her as she thinks of what to say to the Princess to catch her attention. Man, Naminé never expected to be in a situation where she'd actually get to have a real conversation with Kairi... there were so many things to be said, and yet so much she wasn't sure she could say — not to mention, she didn't know Naminé nearly as much as she did Kairi, so she'd probably have a lot of questions about lots of things, knowing her. The blonde wasn't sure if she was ready to talk about herself just yet...

Ugh, stop being avoidant, Naminé! Just say hello!]

'A lot' is a bit of an understatement, but to be honest, those questions aren't even at the forefront of Kairi's mind as she catches sight of the girl and confirms that yes, it's her. Because of that, Kairi's steps are bigger as she makes her way over to Naminé, and a smile finds its way to her lips as she approaches. ]

Naminé! [ She's incredibly happy just to see someone she knows, and it shows. ] I'm so glad you're here.

[ Nobody or not, Naminé deserves to have the chance to be her own person, after all, so she has no intention of questioning the why or how of how Naminé is even there. ]

I didn't think I'd find anyone I knew. How long have you been here?

[They might not be there now, but they would certainly be there eventually, which Naminé was anxious about despite herself. She'd just try to worry about that on a later date though, focus on the now... So, with that in mind, she offers a shy smile to Kairi in return as she exclaims her name, folding her hands against her chest and inclining her head slightly.]

It's good to see you again, Kairi.

[Goodness, her Other was at her best even in the worst of circumstances, what an admirable person.]

Probably just about as long as you have... I'd been trying to find more information on what's going on, and then I saw you.

[ As soon as Naminé says it's good to see her, Kairi's smile brightens just a bit. She'd thought of it a few times, what it might be like to see her face to face again, but she hadn't thought it would happen, not really. But either way, Kairi clasps her hands behind her back as she listens to Naminé, focusing on her entirely. ]

So we're in the same boat, then. Well... [ She pauses to glance around briefly. ] We could always stick together and find out, if you want. Two heads are better than one, right?
