![]() Prompts Arrival: So you've just arrived in Nyoi-Cho. Congratulations! You must be so excited about having your wish granted. Or maybe you're upset that the result wasn't quite what you expected? If that's the case, then that's too bad! There are no take backs and no redoes, so you're stuck with what you have! Maybe you should have been more careful about how you worded that wish... Oh well. There's no use in dwelling on it. You're a magi now, and that means adjusting to a whole new lifestyle! Maybe one of the townspeople can help you out. Only... they're acting a bit strangely, aren't they? They're all too happy to show you around, but there's something unsettling about the way they're behaving. Almost cheerfully dissonant. Any questions about the history of the town are met with blank stares and brief silence, before they plaster a smile onto their faces and change the subject. Any attempts to tell them about your duties as a magi or anything else that relates to the magical will get similar reactions. Isn't there anyone normal here that you can talk to at all? Home Improvement: The houses that the magi are given access to really are something, aren't they? There's almost no limit to what they can do! Why don't you create the house of your dreams, or maybe recreate and relive your favorite childhood scenes? Invite some spectators over to marvel! A Corrupted Soul Gem: You neglected to take care of your soul gem, and now you don't feel quite yourself anymore. You feel like you're losing your sense of self - all you seem to be able to focus on is your old regrets and past failures. What's happening to you? A Successful Mission: Congratulations! You met up with your first Witch, and you fought valiantly. For your efforts, you've been awarded a grief seed - and with it, access to a brand new power! What sort of power did you get? Is it a useful one, or is it not so useful? Maybe you've mastered it beautifully, and now you're showing off to all of your friends. Maybe you're having a hard time keeping it under wraps, and now you're wreaking havoc across the town without meaning to! A Dreadful Nightmare: You had an absolutely horrid day. As you drift off to sleep, your mind dwells on all the injustices you've had to endure. In response, your bed swallows you up, and your room shifts into a horrific Nightmarescape. What sort of Nightmare are you? What kind of Nightmarescape do you create? Hopefully your fellow magi can stop you before you cause too much damage! Wildcard: Feel free to use any information from the FAQ or the World Info page to make your own prompt! |

[...where did that come from ANYWAYS]
Anyways, my wish...well...

[She's teasing, of course.]

[SO EMBARASSING]
...that actually would have been a good wish, for mama...

[Its not what she wished for, granted, but...! That would be on her list! If she could make more than one wish!!]

Maybe it isn't so easy thinking of something to wish for after all...

[A pause.]
Yeah, its...you don't want to waste a wish, yeah?

[ Sayaka, you're already her best friend... ]
no subject
Ah, Sayaka, but we've barely talked since I transferred into your class!

[Madoka, they're not actually studying, they're really just slacking off and bickering and eating Pocky and having not gay pillow fights]I-I mean, I know we were friends when we were kids, but it would be rude if I just walked up to you, a-and talked to you so boldly, like I've known you this whole time...I'm not like...well, you know who I mean...I'd just come off rude and not pleasant at all.

[Sayaka doesn't get it. She's known Madoka for long enough to know when she's joking, though, of course, she never was the type to do something like that, anyway. Madoka isn't the type to come up with an elaborate prank like this, but...]
What is this, some kind of test?! You've lived in Mitakihara your entire life! We've been through school together with Hitomi for years! You've lived in that same house, with that same garden! Your mom is a businesswoman, she's friends with our teacher! You have a little brother named Tatsuya, he's three years old and he's in kindergarten now! Your birthday is October 3rd, your favorite food is cream stew, your favorite colors are white and pink! We're friends, Madoka! D-don't play such a mean joke on me!

[How can she not remember Kyoko? They seem such good friends. This is definitely...troubling.]
Kyoko...Kyoko's your friend. She's got long red hair and she's in our class. A-and...don't you remember? Mama was transferred to America. We only just came back home...to Mitakihara.
[This...hurts, somehow. Like she's supposed to agree with Sayaka. That it was a mean joke. But her memories say, no. This is the real you.]
I swear I'm not lying, Sayaka...!

[She must have something to do with this, she's certain...but the more Madoka pleas with her that she's telling the truth, the more Sayaka feels like she's falling. For her best friend not to remember her, that she forgets all the stupid jokes and times she chased her around and the lunches they ate together on the rooftop...
She's starting to tear up.]
Madoka...what the heck is going on with you? Nothing you're saying makes sense...
no subject
[She turns away at this. She, of course, can't see it, but in the darkness of her face, her eyes begin to twinkle.]
But... she...
[What was this confusion, this sadness, she suddenly felt?
She looks up towards the sky.]
Kyuubey...?

[Don't mind her, Sayaka she is just zoning out. Weirdly. With glowing eyes. That's normal.]
...am I...........
no subject
[Oh, wait, what's even happening, that's not good...]
W-wait, Madoka..!
[She holds onto her shoulders, shaking her lightly...]
Madoka, are you okay?
no subject
[She stops, as she's shaken.]
Sayaka?...But...I don't have any secret admirers...
[She blinks, as her eyes go to normal.]
I remember getting them from her, though. From...from Homura. She wore them in her hair the first day I was in class, and when my other ribbons fell out, she tied them in my hair herself.
[Weird...questions...notwithstanding...]

[She feels like she's facing a losing argument.]
Please, don't do anything if you find her. I promise, I'm telling you the truth...
no subject
I won't rest until I fix it. ...Because I don't know if I can go on without my best friend like this.

[She doesn't respond to the question. She doesn't want to admit it. Doesn't want to admit that, for how wonderful her life is back home, it felt strange, as well. Like something was there that shouldn't be.
Her?]Sayaka...
