If that's the case, then that's too bad! There are no take backs and no redoes, so you're stuck with what you have! Maybe you should have been more careful about how you worded that wish... Oh well. There's no use in dwelling on it. You're a magi now, and that means adjusting to a whole new lifestyle! Maybe one of the townspeople can help you out. Only... they're acting a bit strangely, aren't they? They're all too happy to show you around, but there's something unsettling about the way they're behaving. Almost cheerfully dissonant. Any questions about the history of the town are met with blank stares and brief silence, before they plaster a smile onto their faces and change the subject. Any attempts to tell them about your duties as a magi or anything else that relates to the magical will get similar reactions. Isn't there anyone normal here that you can talk to at all? Home Improvement: The houses that the magi are given access to really are something, aren't they? There's almost no limit to what they can do! Why don't you create the house of your dreams, or maybe recreate and relive your favorite childhood scenes? Invite some spectators over to marvel! As you drift off to sleep, your mind dwells on all the injustices you've had to endure. In response, your bed swallows you up, and your room shifts into a horrific Nightmarescape. [ YELLING. Now he's getting loud with him, which does nothing but hype him up even more. Without so much as a hesitation, Osomatsu reaches out to grab Yoshitake's lapels, like the shitty yakuza NEET he is. ]

[Now things are escalating to a physical level and Yoshitake is not about to be man handled! He shoves at Osmatsu's chest to get him to let go.]

I don't have a problem with you, asshole! I have a problem with the way you're acting. I don't know what kind of crappy mood you're in but you can't just go taking it out on other people!

[ He wasn't afraid-- of course he wasn't. He's not scary like Ichimatsu. Goddamn it, why couldn't that piece of shit cat have picked him to do this? Or Choromatsu, he wanted a job didn't he? Jyushimatsu would probably do it. Todomatsu'd have a good wish.

Why the hell did it have to be him? Getting shoved was enough to bring him back to reality, and he decides to take the adult's way out by shoving Yoshitake right back. ]

[Because you put your hands on me first, is what he's about to say when as he gets shoved right back, but he has to stop and check his temper enough to realize that that's not a thing he should have to say to begin with. This guy is a jackass, no doubt, but he is a jackass having a very bad day. So much so he's not making any sense. Even Yoshitake can see that.

He tones himself down but he can't do anything about the fact that he still sounds a little irritated. He's not going to push back. He's not going to push back...]

It's that kind of attitude that starts these hostile confrontations to begin with, ya know!

[ It was usually easier to ignore that, and he could even do so by making a joke and laughing about it, but he really couldn't bring himself to laugh today. Ugh. ]
