Now, sometimes you can't thread out every single interaction your character has with someone; we're only human, and there's only so much time in the day! But that doesn't mean friendships can't be made, or broken, only within the public eye. Use this to take the opportunity to talk about the mundane things your characters do with each other, and deepen those bonds.

I feel like they should have sparred at some point because Mettaton's kind of hyper-aggressive even when he's not riding the Undertale Justice train.

Also I enjoy the idea of them having a robot/mechanic relationship because who the hell else is going to fix this trashbot?

I feel like more recently but prior to April's shitshow, Mettaton kind of likes having Asriel around and indulges him by watching saturday morning cartoons with him or something.

also asriel is quite possibly the ONLY person he will elect to hunt nightmares in tandem with post-March shitshow.

GOOD!! yuri definitely does need looking after especially because he has no combat experience whatsoever. he thinks mettaton is neat just for what he is--a robot--but he seriously got scared when he saw mtt all beat up after the boss battle.

While I am here, this isn't a handwaved thing, but do you have any thoughts on when/where Abdul and Bonnie should catch up to talk about Kaneko? He's pretty distracted with Kakyoin and Pokey right now, so it doesn't have to be right away, but I don't want to accidentally forget it either.

Aww! I am loving her thread too and he will be a very Good Dad Figure! If there is anything specific about the city or what has happened since magi first arrived here she wants to know, he can very likely fill her in about it. All she will need to do is ask.

He has lots of practice being a dad, after all. He had five kids!

Oh right, I remember seeing a thread in one of the logs where Kakyoin wanted to tell her about the newspaper clipping Hatsu showed them right before going Witch. Since Kakyoin is at Abdul's house, it would work well for them to run into each other there/then! Depending on how things go, he might also mention he talked to Kaneko after the fight too.
